I should really think of stories while drawing. I guess it would provide my own thoughts and give a better understanding of how I see my own art. In time, I guess.
Information: 4-5 days on ~80 layers. The sky is based on a gradient with a lot of brushing. The planet is an earlier creation created and manipulated out of satellite images from NASA's Visible Earth project - with additional manipulations by brushes.

Don't worry too much about story yet, when I was still in the early stages I didn't consider story or concept either - I just wanted to draw pretty pictures save the deep stuff for later when you are even better again
Nice scene though, the sky has an interesting, almost watercolour-like texture. The planet's surface is quite fitting to the forground scenery too
