Enthusiastic!

Journal Entry: Thu Apr 30, 2009, 5:27 AM

The snow?

The truth is, I never saw much snow here in my home-town during this winter, but that is not the reason of why my journal lacks more regular updates.

I guess you could say that my activity here varies from time to time, there are certain periods which I just don't have time to do what I like most (which circulates around art and photography). I'm not really sure what I should do about this, deviantArt simply haven't randomly appeard inside my head lately. But I feel another period of activeness is coming up.

Don't get me wrong, I still draw and try to photograph as much as I can. In fact, I have a few projects going on as of now. And with the current weather-situation, you can actually walk around outside in a t-shirt which is awesome.

Taenaron and a DD! :D

This morning, completely unexpecting that anything interesting at all would happen this day, I randomly visited my DA-page and noticed that I recieved a Daily Deviation - over a month ago (2009-03-06).

You may ask how I could have missed such a thing like this, and I can't really come up with a good reason except my period of inactiveness. Nonetheless, this made me very happy so I would like to take this opportunity to tell `taenaron and everyone who commented aswell as favourised the image;

Thank you so much for your support!

`taenaron was also interviewed in Advanced Photoshop.

Oh man, nothing like catching up on the "good aftermath" of a Daily Deviation :faint: Lol, just answer as best you can - though many will forget what they even commented on by now (even I had to go back to your main page just to remember who this random guy's journal was in my inbox here :lmao:)

Eh, many people here slip into periods of activity. Unlike me - they have better things to do than spend hours a day on dA :lol: but you'll get more fame slowly over time, so don't let it all pile up for too long :work:

Congrats on the DD though! like many, I didn't even know of your page until you got that :)

I was so suprised that I thought I accidentally visited a similar image on another users page, because that amount of views was beyond the edge of my imagination. What you say is true, of course. Good thing we have a "history"-function here on deviantART, eh? ;)

I wish I was more like you then, I really enjoy just sitting countless hours in front of photoshop. Or rather, I don't think so much about it because time just flows away. There should really be more hours on each day...

Thank you Matthew! :manhug:

Lol, I still have the screenshot from my first DD, since I remembe rnearly having a heart attack when I saw over 1'000 messages built up in a day...since the most I had beforehand was about80 or 90 :lmao: so yeah - Biiiig jump from that :faint:

Lol, I really shouldn't be spending so much time on Photoshop or dA, since I have to find myself a proper job. If I weren't still living with and being supported by my family, I'd be sleeping in the gutter by now :saddrunk: But until I get one - I'm making full use of these productive days and being able to check dA messages at my own pace :)

Lol, it's those who are talente dbut have as much free time as I do that I don't get...So many amazing artists on my watchlist just slip into silence for months, or even years! :faint: guess they might be busy doing commissions, since many are pretty popular :p
